On October 9, 2024, with the precise cutting of the first steel plate, the 650MW wind turbine tower manufacturing project in Zhangbei No.2 area undertaken by Dechang Branch of China Hydropower Fourth Bureau was officially launched. This project carries the grand blueprint for the development of green energy in Zhangbei region, and is heavily invested by Hebei Xianeng Energy Trading Co., Ltd. It aims to create a clean energy base consisting of 65 wind turbines with a single capacity of up to 10.0MW.

On this vibrant land of wind power, Shanghai Electric and Mingyang Intelligent, two major brands, are working hand in hand to write a brilliant chapter in wind power technology. Among them, Shanghai Electric provided 35 advanced models, with cleverly designed tower frames composed of five sturdy steel structural components spliced together, towering and reaching a total height of 126.710 meters; Mingyang Intelligent contributed 30 models, and its tower is also constructed with six precision components, standing tall and steep, with a total height of 126.300 meters. The towers of these two major models stand like giants under the blue sky, showcasing the extraordinary charm of wind power technology and the endless pursuit of height.

The launch of the Zhangbei No.2 regional wind power tower project is not only a concentrated display of the technical strength and manufacturing capabilities of China Hydropower Fourth Bureau Dechang Branch, but also another important milestone in the vigorous development of China's new energy industry.
