On August 19th, Oriental International and Kyrgyzstan successfully signed the EPC general contract for the 110 kV and 500 kV substations supporting the Kambalata 2 hydropower station. This project is not only the first 500 kV voltage level substation EPC project undertaken by China Eastern Electric overseas, but also the highest voltage level substation construction project currently in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the contract, the project will renovate and expand the existing 110 kV substation, while also constructing a new 500 kV substation and supporting transmission lines.
