Recently, the 2025 China Guangxi ASEAN Vocational Education Cooperation and Development Conference was grandly opened in Nanning. The fourth Chinese+Logistics and Supply Chain Vocational Skills International Competition and the first ASEAN University Invitation Competition, which were announced at the conference, became the focus of the entire event. This event marks the innovative practice of deep integration of domestic AI technology and cross-border logistics education in Guangxi, injecting new intelligent momentum into the training of logistics talents between China and ASEAN.

The competition is hosted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and Nanning Normal University, with technical support provided by iFlytek and co organized by more than 20 universities including Beijing Institute of Materials Science and Technology. The final will be held entirely in Guangxi, and the registration channel will open at the end of September 2025. As a key international competition brand created by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, it focuses on international students majoring in logistics and supply chain from domestic and foreign universities as the core participating group. Since its first event in 2022, it has successfully held three editions, and its international influence has been increasing year by year. It has attracted international students from more than 30 countries and regions on five continents to participate, and has built an international logistics talent training and practical achievement display platform.
The highlights of this competition are diverse. The establishment of the first ASEAN University Invitation Competition, which precisely responds to the demand for logistics talents in the China ASEAN Free Trade Zone, is an important exploration for Guangxi to promote language and vocational education towards ASEAN based on its geographical advantages. The competition is warming up on the eve of the opening of the 22nd China ASEAN Expo, with a special setting for universities from ASEAN countries to form teams to participate, highlighting Guangxi's positive role in education cooperation and exchange between China and the East. In the future, the competition will adopt a gradual mode, with plans to explore and form a new path and model for international talent cultivation in logistics and supply chain led by Guangxi, tailored for ASEAN, and from the perspective of artificial intelligence before 2027.

The linkage application of two major artificial intelligence models in China is the core highlight of the competition. As a major AI model for education and teaching in the fields of logistics, procurement, and supply chain in China, Zhongwu Lingjing is organically integrated with the "International Chinese Smart Education" AI platform developed by iFlytek based on the Spark model, which is highly compatible with the development path of artificial intelligence industry education integration in Guangxi's "North Shanghai Guangzhou R&D+Guangxi integration+ASEAN application".
Taking the competition as a link, Guangxi will first explore the "small incision" practice of artificial intelligence in specific fields, work together with ASEAN universities to promote the integrated development of regional AI and education, accumulate experience for the pilot of empowering education development with digital Chinese construction, and consolidate Guangxi's hub position in the integrated development of AI technology and vocational education in the central eastern region. The landing of this event is a vivid practice of Guangxi based on the positioning of an important gateway of the the Belt and Road and serving the country's opening up to the outside world. It is also an innovative exploration of the integration of logistics education and international events, and the support of industrial cooperation with skilled personnel training. In the future, the event will further open up the China East logistics talent training channel and inject more talent power into the high-quality development of the the Belt and Road.
