As an important regulating power source for the Northeast Power Grid, the Daya River Pumped Storage Power Station has a total installed capacity of 1.6 million kilowatts and plans to install four reversible hydroelectric generators with a single capacity of 400000 kilowatts. After the completion of the power station, it will be connected to the Northeast power grid at a voltage level of 500 kV, undertaking key tasks such as peak shaving, valley filling, frequency regulation, phase modulation, emergency backup, energy storage, and black start. As of now, the overall progress of the power station construction period project has been completed by 62%, and various supporting projects are progressing in an orderly manner.
