Recently, Kelu Electronics officially disclosed significant progress in its overseas production capacity layout. Its energy storage production base in Indonesia has completed its core planning, with a clear target of 3GWh annual production capacity, and is expected to achieve full production by 2026. The landing of this base is not only a key step for Kelu Electronics to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian energy storage market, but also a core manufacturing hub that radiates to the emerging energy storage markets in ASEAN, the Middle East, and even globally.
It is reported that the energy storage production base in Indonesia will focus on the research and large-scale production of core products such as lithium-ion battery energy storage systems and energy storage inverters (PCS), and plan to build intelligent production lines, research and development testing centers, and supporting warehousing and logistics facilities. The project will fully rely on the abundant mineral resources such as nickel and cobalt in Indonesia, combined with the technical reserves and engineering experience accumulated by Kelu Electronics in the energy storage field for many years, to create an integrated overseas industrial loop of "resources research and development manufacturing application", effectively reducing supply chain costs and geopolitical risks.

Southeast Asia, as one of the fastest-growing regions in the global energy storage market, has shown explosive growth in size in recent years due to the continuous increase in installed renewable energy capacity and the urgent need for power grid upgrades. The production of the Kelu Electronics Indonesia base will accurately match the needs of local and surrounding countries in supporting energy storage, industrial and commercial energy storage, off grid energy storage and other scenarios in new energy power stations, providing localized product and solution support for regional energy transformation. Previously, Kelu Electronics had completed multiple energy storage projects in the Southeast Asian market, accumulating mature customer resources and market reputation, laying a solid foundation for market expansion after the base is put into operation.
The relevant person in charge of Kelu Electronics stated that the Indonesian energy storage production base is an important component of the company's globalization strategy, and the release of 3GWh capacity will significantly enhance the company's supply capacity and core competitiveness in the global energy storage market. In the future, the company will use its Indonesian base as a pivot to further deepen its overseas market layout, continuously increase research and development investment, promote energy storage technology iteration and product upgrades, provide more efficient, reliable, and economical energy storage solutions for global customers, and assist in the global energy transformation process under the "dual carbon" goal.Editor/Bian Wenjun
