Recently, good news came from the construction of the Guanyang Pumped Storage Power Station in Guilin, Guangxi. The tail water elbow pipes of Units 1 and 2 of the project have successfully completed the factory acceptance, and the acceptance work of the core mechanical and electrical equipment has come to a successful conclusion.

The tail water elbow tube of the unit for this acceptance is tailor-made by Kunming Water Plant of China Water Resources and Hydropower 14th Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. The equipment weighs 81.7 tons per set, with an overall height of 6245 millimeters and a total length of 20000 millimeters. The equipment adopts a modular segmented manufacturing process, which is divided into 13 small sections for processing and production, and finally integrated into 8 large sections to complete the factory assembly. This acceptance brings together industry invited experts, Southern Grid Energy Storage Construction and Management Company, Western Repair and Testing Company, as well as supervision units such as Xi'an Thermal Power Institute and mechanical and electrical installation unit Hydroelectricity Seventh Bureau. The acceptance team strictly compares the construction design drawings, industry acceptance standards, project contract terms, and acceptance work outline, carefully verifies the complete set of manufacturing technical data of the equipment, and conducts random sampling inspection on the physical quality of the equipment. After comprehensive and rigorous verification, the acceptance team unanimously assessed that the equipment quality meets the standards and successfully passed the factory acceptance.
