Recently, China Resources Power has completed the bidding process for the procurement of wind turbines for three large-scale wind power projects, and has publicly announced the winning candidates. These three projects have a total installed capacity of 2243.75 megawatts, and Dongfang Electric Wind Power Co., Ltd. and CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd., with their excellent technical solutions and comprehensive strength, are expected to win the bid as the first candidate bidders.

The three projects being tendered this time are: the 243.75 MW wind power project located in Cao County, Heze City, Shandong Province, and the 1000 MW new energy projects in Barkol County and Yiwu County, Hami City, Xinjiang. Among them, the Caoxian project in Shandong Province plans to install 39 6.25-megawatt wind turbines, with wheel hub heights of 140 meters and 160 meters, both of which are designed with steel-concrete tower structures; The two Hami projects require a single unit capacity between 8-10 megawatts, using a steel tower type with impeller diameters not exceeding 222 meters.

According to the delivery schedule required by the bidding documents, the Caoxian project in Shandong Province plans to start delivering basic embedded parts in batches from November 30, 2025, and complete the supply of all wind turbines before July 30, 2026. The basic components such as anchor bolts and anchor plates for two Hami projects will be delivered starting from March 31, 2026. The wind turbines are planned to be supplied in batches starting from May 30, 2026, and all equipment will be delivered before December 31, 2026.
