The development of Vietnam's digital economy has reached an important milestone. HITC International Telecommunications Co., Ltd. and Evolution Data Center Co., Ltd. recently announced a cooperation to build ultra large scale data centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. This is the first telecommunications infrastructure project in Vietnam to introduce international strategic investors, which will significantly improve Vietnam's digital infrastructure level and contribute to the sustained prosperity of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing digital market.

Two flagship projects layout in North and South Vietnam

In December 2025, HITC International Telecommunications Co., Ltd. and Evolution Data Center Company officially established a partnership to jointly develop ultra large scale data centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. This joint venture project will initially focus on two flagship projects: one is the EcoDC data center located in Hanoi, which is an expansion of HITC's existing facilities in the LEGO Technology Park; The second is to build a large-scale data center in Ho Chi Minh City.

EcoDC data center is the first data center in Vietnam to receive Uptime Institute Tier III certification in both design and construction, representing the highest level of availability, reliability, and security for data centers. By combining Evolution's expertise in the development of ultra large scale data centers with HITC's strong market influence and telecommunications infrastructure in the local area, this cooperation will fully utilize Vietnam's abundant renewable energy resources to create high-performance and sustainable digital infrastructure.
