On January 4, 2026, the "Silan Jihua 12 inch High end Analog Integrated Circuit Chip Manufacturing Production Line Project" led by Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics Co., Ltd. with a total investment of up to 20 billion yuan broke ground. This project is based on international top technology standards, adopts an IDM operation mode that integrates design and manufacturing, and has completely independent intellectual property rights. The construction plan is clearly divided into two phases for promotion: the first phase will invest 10 billion yuan and is expected to achieve preliminary production and operation in the fourth quarter of 2027. It is also planned to achieve full production by 2030, with an annual production capacity of 240000 12 inch analog chips. The second phase will continue to invest an additional 10 billion yuan. After the completion of both phases of the project, the annual total production capacity will jump to 540000 pieces, building a solid production capacity foundation to meet the chip demand of key domestic industries.
