On February 5, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony of CGN Huangmei's new 200 MW wind power project was grandly held at the Huazhong Green Printing and Dyeing Industrial Park in Xiaochi Binjiang New Area. As a landmark project in Huangmei County, Huanggang City, promoting energy structure reform and industrial green upgrading, the launch of this project not only marks a new stage in the development of clean energy in the county, but also adds a strong "green engine" to the high-quality development of the local economy.

It is reported that the project is located in towns such as Xiaochi, Fenlu, and Xinkai, with a planned total installed capacity of 200 megawatts. Among them, the first phase of the project has a construction scale of 100 megawatts, with the planned installation of 16 wind turbines with a single capacity of 6.25 megawatts, and the supporting construction of a 220 kV booster station and related transmission lines. The technology is advanced and the layout is scientific.

In terms of green benefits, after the project is fully put into operation, it is expected that the average annual power generation will reach 280 million kilowatt hours. Behind this data is a significant ecological contribution of saving 85000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 230000 tons annually, which will strongly support Huangmei County in building a clean and low-carbon energy system.
