Crude oil transportation has become a key issue of global concern. Recently, the Jintang crude oil storage and transportation base terminal project has successfully passed project approval, which means that Zhoushan City has made a crucial breakthrough in optimizing and upgrading the crude oil transportation system of the petrochemical industry.

The project plans to build two 300000 ton crude oil berths with a designed annual throughput capacity of 30.16 million tons. After completion, the project will become an important supporting force for the crude oil transportation system in Zhoushan City and fill multiple development gaps in the local area. After the project is put into operation, it will further improve the supporting facilities of Zhoushan Yushan Green Petrochemical Base, solve the prominent problem of the lack of independent and controllable large-scale crude oil terminals in the base, effectively reduce the pressure of crude oil supply guarantee for existing large-scale terminals and pipelines such as external fishing, and comprehensively enhance the safety and risk resistance level of Zhoushan's crude oil industry supply chain. In addition, it can significantly shorten the waiting time for ultra large oil tankers in the city, significantly reduce the logistics expenses of petrochemical enterprises, and inject strong impetus into the high-quality construction of a world-class strong port.Editor/Gong Ziwei
