Recently, an aerial drone flew over the construction site of the Haitian Machinery Factory project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. In the camera, the steel structure skeleton of the main factory building has been extensively formed, and the roof laying and concrete pouring of the R&D office area are progressing synchronously. On this construction site covering an area of approximately 120000 square meters, the construction team of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division is replicating the standardized process of Chinese construction to the Southeast Asian tropical monsoon.

Formation of steel structure skeleton for main factory building

The project contract amount is approximately 860 million yuan, with a total construction area of 120000 square meters. It is divided into three major areas: factory buildings and R&D centers, employee dormitories, and Haitian Pavilion, including five main individual buildings. The main framework of the current main factory building is clearly visible, and the installation of steel structures and roof construction are progressing simultaneously. The structural construction of the R&D office area is progressing as planned. A parallel construction pattern has been formed on site, with key breakthroughs in the main factory building and synchronous follow-up in supporting areas. The entire process of pile foundation, main body, mechanical and electrical, and decoration is orderly interspersed.

The 12-month construction period is tightly grasping the node

The project period is from February 2026 to January 2027, which is only 12 months. The construction team closely follows the node goals, optimizes resource allocation and process connection, ensures efficient operation of machinery, standardizes and organizes material storage yards, and fully implements site roads and temporary support facilities. The smooth implementation of the main structure construction has left a critical window period for the close integration of subsequent mechanical and electrical installation and decoration.
