Recently, the first phase of the Xing'an League Goldwind 2 million kilowatt wind power to green hydrogen demonstration project achieved full capacity grid connected power generation, and Zhalaite Banner's new energy officially entered a new stage of integrated development of wind, hydrogen, and alcohol.

Project Overview
The first phase of the 250000 kilowatt project will start construction in September 2025, with 33 wind turbines and 284 collection line towers installed. The project innovation adopts a wind and fire bundling combined with green electricity hydrogen production mode. Green electricity is transmitted to the Economic Development Zone through a 220kV booster station, with 80% used for hydrogen production and green methanol production, and 20% integrated into the power grid, achieving efficient cascade utilization of energy.
The annual power generation of the first phase of the project can reach 762 million kilowatt hours, which can save 225700 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 602000 tons. After the overall completion of the project, it will have an annual production capacity of 92200 tons of green hydrogen and 561800 tons of green methanol.

project layout
The total investment of the project is 13.665 billion yuan, and it will be constructed in three phases. At present, the second phase has started construction, and the approval procedures for the third phase are being accelerated. As a demonstration project of wind solar hydrogen alcohol integration, it not only drives the development of local supporting industries, but also promotes the transformation of local new energy towards high added value in the entire industry chain. Goldwind Technology's large-scale demonstration project aims to convert local wind energy into green energy products that can be stored and transported. With the implementation of subsequent projects, the wind solar hydrogen alcohol full industry chain model will provide a reference model for the consumption of new energy and the low-carbon transformation of the chemical industry in the north.Editor/Gong Ziwei
