During the research period, Jiang Yi and his team went deep into the first batch of offshore wind power projects in China and the first offshore deep-water area in Guangdong Province - Huadian Yangjiang Qingzhou Three Sea Wind Farm, to gain a detailed understanding of the project's specific situation in offshore wind power operation and maintenance, technological innovation, industrial collaboration, safety production, and engineering construction. At the same time, they inquired about the engineering progress of Huadian Yangjiang Sanshan Island Six Sea Wind Farm, the farthest offshore wind power project under construction in China. After listening to the reports on regional development and offshore wind power development, construction, operation and maintenance from Guangdong Company and Huadian Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Jiang Yi fully recognized the achievements made by Guangdong Company in energy supply guarantee, green development of offshore wind power, as well as the positive progress made by Huadian Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in the fields of ocean engineering and hydrogen based energy development. He emphasized that Guangdong, as the vanguard, pioneer and experimental zone of reform and opening up, occupies an important position and plays a key role in the overall development of the country. Guangdong companies should take the initiative to contribute greater strength to regional development.

Deploy six key tasks

We must firmly grasp the green and low-carbon development, further optimize and improve the 15th Five Year Plan for strategic development, clarify goals, self pressure, and ensure implementation. Relying on the resource endowment and geographical advantages of Guangdong Province, we will focus on the large-scale development of offshore wind power, do a good job in construction safety, quality, cost and schedule management of ongoing projects, and accelerate the approval of new development projects.
