In the Suhar Free Trade Zone on the Persian Gulf, a groundbreaking ceremony is quietly changing the future of local industries. On May 8th, Zhongke Electric launched a lithium battery negative electrode material project here, which is also a major layout of Chinese enterprises in the field of new energy materials in the Middle East.

The project is led by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongke Electric, and plans to build an integrated base for lithium-ion battery negative electrode materials with an annual output of 200000 tons in Oman, with a total planned investment of no more than 8 billion yuan. The first phase of the project has a construction area of approximately 77600 square meters, covering core workshops such as graphitization, carbonization, and screening, forming a complete production line system. After the project is put into operation, the product can be adapted to various types of batteries such as new energy vehicles, energy storage, and consumer electronics, filling the gap in Oman's key materials for lithium battery negative electrodes. By filling in the gaps in local new energy materials, the project will promote the improvement of the upstream and downstream industrial chain in the Suhar Free Trade Zone, and facilitate the agglomeration development of new energy industries in the Middle East region.

The commencement of construction this time also marks a crucial step for Zhongke Electric in deepening its main business of lithium battery negative electrodes and taking overseas production capacity layout. By expanding the global production capacity map, enterprises will further seize opportunities in the new energy industry and enhance their competitiveness and supply capacity in the international market.keywords:New energy news,New energy information network
