On May 9, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and the Rawalpindi Chinese Association held a themed seminar on "75 Years of China Pakistan Good Neighborliness: Xinjiang Development, Ethnic Progress, and New Opportunities". Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and Pakistani Prime Minister's Special Representative for China Affairs Zaffar attended and delivered speeches, and more than 200 people from all walks of life in Pakistan attended.

Jiang Zaidong stated that under the guidance of the Party's governance strategy in the new era, Xinjiang's economic and social development, ethnic unity and progress, and people's well-being are at their best in history today. We are willing to firmly support each other with the Pakistani side, jointly walk a development path that is in line with our national conditions, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and accelerate the construction of a closer China Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.

The participants from Pakistan spoke highly of the comprehensive development achievements of Xinjiang under the leadership of the CPC, strongly refuted the false information related to Xinjiang in combination with their respective experiences in Xinjiang, and expressed their willingness to make new contributions to the continuous deepening of Pakistan China exchanges and cooperation and iron friendship.
