At present, the bilateral trade volume between the two cities has increased significantly by 58% year-on-year, and the cooperation between China and Ukraine in urban infrastructure and municipal environmental protection has accelerated comprehensively, which is conducive to promoting the modernization and quality upgrading of Tashkent city.

Collaboration across multiple fields

The focus of this discussion is on the upgrading and upgrading of Tashkent's transportation infrastructure. Both sides will discuss two core transportation projects: the planned capital toll ring expressway with a total length of about 100 kilometers and the toll expressway connecting the main urban area and the newly built international airport. On this basis, both parties will continue to expand their cooperation areas, extending to multiple tracks such as urban renewal and renovation, overall planning of modern cities, and construction of environmental waste recycling and disposal facilities. The Chinese side will simultaneously share its mature construction experience in supporting infrastructure for people's livelihoods, such as primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and medical and health institutions.

In addition, the Tashkent municipal department has officially signed a cooperation agreement with relevant municipal units in Tianjin, reaching a consensus on optimizing the urban drainage system, modernizing sewage treatment facilities, and implementing water resource recycling technologies. The Chinese side has clearly stated that it will fully support the promotion of relevant projects, and China Railway Construction has also shown a strong willingness to conduct research and cooperation on local cooperative projects.

Fill in the gaps in urban infrastructure

With the rapid expansion of Tashkent's urban construction, the existing transportation network, water supply and drainage system, and various municipal supporting facilities are gradually lagging behind the pace of urban development. Issues such as traffic congestion and outdated facilities have become prominent, becoming bottlenecks that restrict urban development. It is urgent to achieve quality upgrading through modernization.
