The global AI computing power competition has entered a hard constraint era of power shortage, and BDx has taken the lead in Indonesia. This Asian data center platform recently announced a strategic partnership with PLN, securing up to 1.2GW of power supply commitments throughout Indonesia, clearing the biggest bottleneck for the expansion of its multiple campuses.

Simultaneous expansion of three major parks
This cooperation covers BDx's three core parks in Jakarta and West Java province.
The CGK4 flagship AI park is located in Jatiluhur, West Java Province, and has secured 788MVA of contracted grid power. It is the largest power commitment among the three parks and will support the operation of large-scale AI training clusters.
The CGK3A park is located in Silandak, South Jakarta, and has been electrified and expanded to approximately 60MVA, providing stable support for existing businesses.
CGK5 Park is located in Suryatzpuda, West Java Province, with a locked 385MVA electricity quota for promoting the construction of high-voltage power grid infrastructure and reserving space for future expansion.
The total size of the three major parks exceeds 1.2GW, which is quite rare in the Southeast Asian data center market. The above agreement has been officially signed at the official signing ceremony in Jakarta.

AI infrastructure enters the deterministic stage
BDx Indonesia CEO Wijaya stated that stable and scalable power supply is the cornerstone of Indonesia's AI and digital infrastructure development, and PLN's professionalism is crucial for capacity expansion. Priyanto, Director of Retail and Business at PLN, pointed out that this collaboration demonstrates PLN's crucial role in empowering sustainable growth in Indonesia's AI and digital economy. Respati, Senior Manager of PLN West Java Power Distribution Authority, emphasized that Indonesia's accelerated demand for AI and digital services urgently requires infrastructure providers to maintain close coordination with the national power ecosystem. When computing power becomes a national strength, electricity is no longer just a cost item, but a core competitiveness. The 1.2GW locked in by BDx is essentially paying for the next decade of Indonesia's AI industry. While global data centers are still struggling with power supply, BDx has already obtained the power pass to the AI era.Editor/Cheng Liting
