Irzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, held a special meeting with the head of Chinese company Si Jie Stone. The two sides conducted in-depth consultations on expanding bilateral investment cooperation and landing new manufacturing projects, and finalized multiple cooperation plans.

The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan stated that this symposium focuses on the feasibility of establishing new production bases in Uzbekistan, deepening the potential for bilateral economic and trade cooperation, and further consolidating the stable economic and trade partnership between the two countries.

Introduce manufacturing solutions

At the meeting, Chinese Si Jie Stone company launched two major investment and construction plans. The first project is a high-end battery processing and recycling industry project. With the rapid development of the global new energy vehicle industry, regulatory standards for the disposal and recycling of waste batteries in various countries continue to upgrade. The battery recycling industry has become an emerging track of great strategic value.

The second project plans to build a specialized lighting product production base, with a focus on export-oriented development. The project aims to leverage Uzbekistan's location advantages to build it into a hub for lighting product production and distribution in Central Asia, breaking through the limitations of the local market and radiating to surrounding markets in multiple countries.

Promote project implementation in stages

The two major projects planned this time will effectively help Uzbekistan improve its local industrial system, introduce advanced production and manufacturing technologies and processes from China, fully unleash the export advantages of local industries, and activate the vitality of foreign trade economic development.
