Recently, the signing of a cross-border memorandum of understanding has brought Jereh New Energy Regeneration and Saudi Arabia's EADA tightly together. This is not only a strategic partnership between the two companies, but also a key leap for China's cutting-edge environmental protection technology to go global and deeply embed into Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision map.

Anchor recycling blank

According to the agreement, both parties will abandon the simple technology output mode and instead jointly build collection, processing, and resource recovery facilities for industrial grade retired lithium batteries. Jereh New Energy Regeneration will provide the latest crushing, sorting, and material recycling system, combined with EADA's local logistics network and regulatory experience in Saudi Arabia, to directly target the pain points of insufficient large-scale lithium battery recycling capacity in Saudi Arabia and even the entire Gulf region.

Responding to the 2030 Vision

The implementation of this project goes far beyond just building a factory. It aims to create a closed-loop supply chain for Saudi Arabia's booming electric transportation and energy storage industry by recycling high-value materials from retired batteries. This is not only a substantial support for Saudi Arabia's national sustainable development strategy, but also a vivid footnote to its transition from an oil economy to a circular economy. Building a solid foundation for the industry

In addition to the construction of hardware facilities, this cooperation is also aimed at building nests and attracting phoenixes. Both parties will work together with relevant government departments in Saudi Arabia to promote the establishment of technical standards and regulatory frameworks for lithium battery recycling. This will not only consolidate Saudi Arabia's position as a regional center for green industry development, but also mark the core ecological position of China's new energy and environmental protection industry in the global high value-added industrial chain.Editor/Gao Xue
