Recently, the TIR Manzhouli Assembly Center project in the Manzhouli Digital Land Port Smart Hub Park has officially started construction. This is a benchmark project for deepening the integration and innovation of TIR international transportation system in the Manzhouli area of Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone, covering a total area of 140000 square meters.

Unlike traditional ports that only serve the single function of goods transit, this park directly packages and plans all customs clearance, warehousing, testing, and living facilities, without the need for scattered transportation in different areas around the port.

Centralized implementation of full chain functions

The park is also equipped with a room temperature storage area, a constant temperature storage area, a large cargo loading and unloading yard, a container storage area, a dedicated customs closed supervision zone, intelligent inspection supporting facilities, and even a dedicated TIR vehicle professional testing center. The synchronized large truck parking lot, driver's apartment, and catering service facilities directly solve the long-standing problem of mid way rest for cross-border freight drivers.

After the completion of the entire park, it will become a comprehensive cross-border logistics carrier that integrates customs clearance, cargo distribution, warehousing and storage, vehicle inspection, and comprehensive supporting services. There is no need for trucks to travel back and forth between multiple stations around the port as in the past.

Customs clearance efficiency increased by 40%

After the project is put into operation, it is expected to handle an annual TIR freight volume of 500000 tons and 100000 standard containers. The overall customs clearance efficiency at the port will be improved by 40%, and the cross-border comprehensive logistics cost will be reduced by 15%. In the past, Manzhouli Port was mainly based on a channel economy of simple goods transit, with a large number of transit goods directly transferred and leaving, making it difficult to form industrial sedimentation locally.
