Recently, BYD Energy Storage signed a cooperation agreement with Greenvolt Power to jointly develop the Siedlce energy storage project in Poland. The total capacity of this project is 600MW/2.4GWh, and upon completion, it will become the largest battery energy storage project in Poland, marking another successful landing of BYD's energy storage technology in the European market.

This cooperation is the second collaboration between BYD Energy Storage and Greenvolt Power in Poland. Previously, the cumulative capacity of their two projects in the local area had reached 1.6 GWh. The Siedlce project is scheduled to commence construction in the third quarter of 2026 and is expected to be put into commercial operation by the end of 2027. BYD Energy Storage has become the core choice for this project due to its leading technological strength and the reliability verified by projects in multiple global locations.

BYD Energy Storage provides the leading BYD Haohan energy storage system for this project, equipped with the world's largest 2710Ah energy storage dedicated blade battery, with a minimum unit capacity of 14.5MWh, achieving an equivalent 20 foot container capacity of 10MWh. Haohan will save land and construction costs for the Siedlce project with fewer boxes and smaller footprint.
