A green fleet carrying China's high-end manufacturing strength is breaking through the waves. More than 100 giant wind power blades have crossed the ocean, marking the deep coupling between the new energy industry chain in the hinterland of southwest China and the clean energy market in South Asia, and injecting strong momentum into the green development of the the Belt and Road.
Lingang Manufacturing provides direct access to overseas markets
Recently, a Borun Jiuzhou cargo ship carrying 147 EN156AV2 wind turbine blades departed from Dalanping 3 Pier in Qinzhou Port Area of Beibu Gulf Port and arrived at Dutigolin Port in India. The total value of this batch of goods is 154 million yuan, with a single blade length of 76.8 meters, width of 4.24 meters, height of 3.5 meters, and a single weight of about 16 tons.

This overseas order is a heavyweight order for the export of new energy equipment from Qinzhou Port in 2026, and also represents the stable and large-scale entry of locally manufactured wind turbine blades into the South Asian clean energy market.
Iterative upgrade of port efficiency
The batch of wind turbine blades are all produced by Yuanjing Energy Qinzhou Smart Energy Base, relying on the local well-established new energy upstream and downstream industrial chain, forming an integrated operation mode of on-site production, nearby storage, and direct export, reducing losses caused by long-distance transportation and effectively reducing logistics expenses. At this stage, local blades continue to supply wind power projects in India and implement the the Belt and Road construction with green capacity cooperation.
Qinzhou Port is the core port of the Western Land Sea New Corridor, with a 4-5 day shorter shipping route to South Asia compared to Eastern ports. It has lower ship rental and warehousing expenses, making it the preferred port for exporting southwest wind power equipment to South Asia.

The growth of foreign trade is extremely strong and rising
The size of wind turbine blades is huge, the lifting and fixing process is complicated, and the customs clearance and security inspection requirements are strict. Qinzhou Bonded Port Border Inspection has customized a ship exclusive service plan for this purpose. By relying on online remote monitoring and aerial inspections, a comprehensive supervision network is established to quickly issue operational approvals to enterprises in advance. The entire process of blade loading and reinforcement is completed without waiting, and dedicated transportation channels are added to accelerate loading speed and shorten the time for ships to dock at ports, reducing operational costs for enterprises. Key words: wind power blades, the the Belt and Road, the new land and sea channel in the west
Data shows that from 2026 to present, Qinzhou Port has completed 11 voyages of wind turbine blade exports, with a total shipment of 922 units. The export scale and quality have improved synchronously, and wind power equipment has become a new growth point for local foreign trade.Editor/Gong Ziwei
