New chemical project starts construction
On July 2, 2026, the 190000 ton high-end fine chemical new material renovation and expansion project of Jiangsu Aoke Chemical, a subsidiary of Aoke Group, officially started construction in Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park. The CEO of the company, Zhu Zongjiang, stated that ethylene oxide fine new materials have been the core business of the enterprise for over 40 years, and new energy electrolyte solvents are the core layout of the enterprise's high-end green and intelligent transformation in the 15th Five Year Plan. The enterprise will deepen its main business by starting projects, relying on self-developed technology to iterate new products, overcome the technical difficulties of lithium battery new materials, build a top epoxy new materials enterprise in the industry, and promote the upgrading of the domestic new energy materials industry to the high-end.

Our products cover multiple fields
The construction period of this project is one year, and it will be upgraded and renovated on the basis of the original factory area. After full production, a complete production capacity layout will be established: an annual output of 90000 tons of battery grade ethylene carbonate and 10000 tons of industrial grade ethylene carbonate, with supporting outputs of 80000 tons of ethylene glycol butyl ether, 5000 tons of ethylene glycol methyl ether, and 5000 tons of high-end fine chemicals, with an overall annual production capacity of 190000 tons.

The enterprise independently develops a green process for synthesizing carbonates from carbon dioxide and ethylene oxide, which combines exclusive technological advantages of low carbon, low cost, and high purity. This expansion will achieve large-scale production of this green process. The battery grade ethylene carbonate produced by the project meets the purity standards for high-end lithium battery electrolytes and has been supplied to leading domestic electrolyte companies; Alcoholic ether products are mostly used in the electronic cleaning and high-end coating industries, simultaneously laying out the two major tracks of new energy and fine chemicals.
Building a green and intelligent production line
In terms of industrial layout, Aoke Group has established multiple production bases in Liaoning, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Wuhan, Guangdong, and Hainan, and built a national epoxy fine chemical production network. The Jiangsu Ethylene Carbonate Expansion Project has been launched, and with the addition of planned production capacity for similar projects in Sichuan, the total production capacity of the company's electrolyte solvents has become among the top in the industry. The company has established a full chain industrial system for ethylene, ethylene oxide, carbonate solvents, and lithium battery additives, further enhancing the synergistic advantages of upstream and downstream.
