On July 2, 2026, the "UAE China Architecture and Infrastructure Roundtable" hosted by the UAE Ministry of Investment was held in Abu Dhabi. Ambassador Zeng Jixin and Deputy Minister of Investment Harvey attended and delivered speeches.

Ambassador Zeng stated in his speech that infrastructure cooperation is an important support for the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Arab countries. Chinese enterprises have actively participated in local road traffic, construction projects, port logistics, renewable energy, seawater desalination and other projects, completed a number of landmark projects, and injected strong vitality into the high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road between China and Argentina.

During the event, the investment department introduced the investment environment in the United Arab Emirates, and the energy and infrastructure sectors enjoyed opportunities in infrastructure projects. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Abu Dhabi First Bank respectively introduced measures to serve China Arab economic and trade investment cooperation.
