The Nanning South Station, which has a continuous flow of transportation infrastructure, is a key hub of the Western Land Sea New Corridor. The old turnouts in the station have been operating at overload for a long time, resulting in performance degradation. The relevant units completed the centralized replacement of turnouts after three months. After the new equipment was put into use, the station's marshalling and transportation capacity was greatly improved, providing hardware support for the stable operation of cross-border freight and China Vietnam trains. 

Hub Renewal

The continuously increasing freight volume has overwhelmed the existing line equipment at Nanning South Station. The station is connected to multiple railway trunk lines and undertakes the work of freight grouping and transfer, as well as China Vietnam train transfer. The relevant units selected the window period from March 16th to June 16th, and used 31 sealed skylights to complete the replacement of all 67 sets of turnouts in the station, resolving the transportation hazards caused by equipment aging from the root.

Construction quality assurance

Liuzhou Engineering Machinery Section has coordinated various preparatory work in advance, carried out construction coordination and deployment multiple times, and clearly divided the work content of each position. Strictly adhere to safety and quality control standards throughout the construction process, assess various potential risks before starting work, follow standardized operating procedures during the operation period, promptly review and sort out problems after completion, and ensure the smooth implementation of the renovation project throughout the process. After the renovation, the operational stability of the turnout equipment has significantly improved, and the efficiency of freight grouping at the station has been synchronously improved, completely releasing the transportation carrying capacity of the hub and continuously ensuring the efficient and smooth transportation of goods on the western land sea new channel.Editor/Min Jing
