The project is located in the Mombasa Port Area of Kenya, and the main construction content includes the construction of a 1.7-kilometer two-way four lane asphalt crushed stone mastic road, the construction of a 704 meter long and 21.8-meter wide post tensioned prestressed concrete box girder bridge, as well as a 1-kilometer long approach bridge and a 583-meter one-way two lane concrete pavement ramp.

Mombasa Port is the largest international port in East Africa and an important gateway to the sea for Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and other landlocked countries. It plays an important role in the economic development and international trade of the East African region.

After the completion of the project, it will effectively alleviate traffic congestion in the port area, improve the efficiency of port collection and distribution, and enhance logistics support capabilities, providing solid infrastructure support for the continuous improvement of comprehensive operational capabilities of the port, and injecting new momentum into promoting connectivity and economic development in East Africa.Editor/Min Jing
