The situation in the Middle East remains tense, and the humanitarian situation in Gaza has yet to ease. At the donor conference held in Brussels, Belgium, Saudi Arabia took the initiative to speak out, increase humanitarian aid, reaffirm political support, and actively promote the implementation of regional peace processes.

Adhere to the proposition of founding the country
Minister Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia, Manar Radwan, attended the second Palestinian donor conference and made it clear that Saudi Arabia will continue to support Palestine from multiple dimensions including politics, economy, and diplomacy. The local ceasefire has lasted for nine months, but the situation in the Gaza Strip remains severe. The Israeli military controls about 70% of Gaza, and the control measures continue to restrict the progress of local reconstruction and humanitarian relief work. Saudi Arabia insists on relying on the two-state solution to promote the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital, laying a solid foundation for regional peace.

Intensify humanitarian assistance
Saudi Arabia pointed out that Israel's settlement expansion and unilateral measures continue to intensify the conflict, and the current crisis has both humanitarian and political attributes. During the meeting, Saudi Arabia called on the international community to increase long-term funding for Gaza, continue to support the operation of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, and safeguard the basic living, education, and medical rights of refugees. At the same time, it is emphasized that the strategic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States is the key to maintaining long-term stability in the Middle East. It will rely on multilateral coordination, continue to export diplomatic power, and promote the long-term stability of the Middle East situation.Editor/Min Jing
