The two parties have officially signed a seismic exploration contract for the Abu Haimay oil field, located in the Musana Province of Iraq. The project falls under the scope of the fifth round of supplementary oil and gas block bidding and the sixth round of oil and gas block bidding in Iraq. This project is in line with the development strategy of advanced exploration technology of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil. By accurately collecting seismic data and analyzing geological structures, it effectively improves the probability of discovering new oil and gas reserves and lays a solid foundation for expanding Iraq's energy resources.

According to the Iraqi oil department, after the project is implemented, it will effectively expand the country's oil and gas reserves, provide solid support for energy investment projects in various regions, and continue to activate the vitality of local energy industry development. The project will be jointly implemented by the Iraqi technical team and Zhenhua Oil. While promoting exploration operations, it will also help local technical personnel accumulate practical experience, enhance the level of local oil and gas exploration technology, and increase industry participation.
