Wang Yi congratulates Kyrgyzstan on successfully hosting the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Foreign Ministers' Meeting, laying a solid foundation for the Bishkek Summit. Wang Yi said, 'Good neighbors are worth more than gold.'. China is a good neighbor that Kyrgyzstan can always trust.   Last year, the two heads of state met three times and made plans and arrangements for the development of China Kyrgyzstan relations, injecting strong impetus into deepening all-round mutually beneficial cooperation. Under the leadership of President Zaparov, Kyrgyzstan's national construction is thriving and revitalized, and China is sincerely pleased with Kyrgyzstan's development achievements.

Wang Yi said that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the beginning of the 15th Five Year Plan. China is comprehensively promoting the building of a strong country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization. Jifang is actively implementing the "National Development Plan before 2030". The alignment of development strategies between China and Kyrgyzstan and the joint development and revitalization have broad prospects. In the next stage, we need to prepare for high-level exchanges, consolidate political mutual trust, and promote traditional friendship. We need to implement the medium - and long-term economic and trade cooperation plan, promote the construction of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan railway, accelerate the construction and renovation of cross-border ports, deepen cooperation in agriculture, energy and mineral resources, and create new growth points for cooperation in artificial intelligence, digital economy, and other fields. China will continue to encourage reputable and powerful Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Kyrgyzstan, and hopes that Kyrgyzstan will continue to optimize the business environment and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, institutions, and personnel. The Chinese side appreciates Kyrgyzstan's support for China's legitimate position on issues related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, and human rights. We will continue to support Kyrgyzstan in pursuing a development path that is in line with our national conditions, safeguard Kyrgyzstan's sovereignty, security, and development interests, and oppose any external forces interfering in Kyrgyzstan's internal affairs. China welcomes Kyrgyzstan's accession to the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization and the International Mediation Institute, congratulates Kyrgyzstan on being elected as a non permanent member of the United Nations Security Council with a high number of votes, welcomes Kyrgyzstan to play a greater role in international affairs, and looks forward to close international cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, practicing true multilateralism, and safeguarding the common interests of developing countries.

Kulubayev stated that Kyrgyzstan and China are sincere partners of equality, mutual trust, mutual respect, and mutual trust. The two heads of state have established a high degree of mutual trust, leading the relationship between Kyrgyzstan and China into the best period in history. Kyrgyzstan adheres to the One China principle and firmly supports China in safeguarding its core interests. Thank China for providing strong support for Kyrgyzstan's economic and social development. Kyrgyzstan is willing to work with China to jointly build the "the Belt and Road" in high quality, accelerate the construction of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan railway, deepen cooperation in economy, trade, investment, finance, energy and other fields, and welcome and willing to provide a good business environment for Chinese enterprises to invest and start business in Kyrgyzstan. We look forward to China continuing to support Kyrgyzstan's work as the chair of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and jointly hosting the Bishkek Summit. Kyrgyzstan is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China on multilateral platforms such as the United Nations and the China Central Asia Mechanism, to jointly uphold the authority of the United Nations and defend multilateralism.

After the meeting, witnessed by Wang Yi, Kurubayev signed the Convention on the Establishment of an International Mediation Institute on behalf of the Kyrgyz government. The foreign ministers of the two countries also attended the unveiling ceremony of the reopening of the Chinese Consulate General in Osh.
