In June 2026, China completed 627.5 billion kilowatt hours of electricity market transactions, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%. From the perspective of transaction scope, the province's traded electricity reached 477.4 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 24.1%; The amount of electricity traded across provinces and regions reached 150.1 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%. From the perspective of trading varieties, the medium and long-term trading electricity is 577.4 billion kilowatt hours; The spot trading electricity is 50.1 billion kilowatt hours. The trading volume of green electricity reached 27.5 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 15.0%. The market-oriented agency purchase of electricity by power grid enterprises amounted to 73.8 billion kilowatt hours.

From January to June 2026, China has completed a total of 3684.8 billion kilowatt hours of electricity market transactions, a year-on-year increase of 24.2%. From the perspective of transaction scope, the province's traded electricity reached 2913.5 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 27.9%; The amount of electricity traded across provinces and regions reached 771.3 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%. From the perspective of trading varieties, the medium and long-term trading electricity is 3256.8 billion kilowatt hours; The spot trading electricity is 428 billion kilowatt hours. The trading volume of green electricity reached 164.1 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. The market-oriented agency purchase of electricity by power grid enterprises amounted to 398.5 billion kilowatt hours.
