Kyrgyzstan has a mountainous terrain with numerous tunnel and bridge projects, making construction difficult. The head of Kyrgyzstan Railway revealed that the entire 304 kilometer railway line in the country has started construction, and the pace of project progress is better than expected. The project also takes into account ecological protection and helps to open up the external channels of inland countries.

The project is steadily advancing

Azamat Sakiyev stated in a live radio broadcast that tunnel, bridge, and roadbed construction will be carried out along the entire Kyrgyzstan section of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan Railway. The mountainous terrain brings a large number of complex construction sections, and the project team advances various operations in an orderly manner, with the overall progress slightly ahead of schedule. The route planning fully avoids natural reserves and uses tunnels to reduce the disturbance of the project to the local ecological environment. Empowering regional connectivity

This railway is an important passage of the Silk Road and will greatly enhance the transit transportation capacity of Kyrgyzstan. By relying on the revenue from transit freight, we aim to expand our country's foreign trade channels and help landlocked countries better access the global market. After the completion of the project, the Asia Europe cross-border logistics network will be improved to continuously unleash the potential for regional economic and trade cooperation.Editor/Min Jing
