A new transportation hub leveraged by 28 million US dollars

The total investment of the project is 28 million US dollars, jointly funded by the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa and the government of Madagascar. The construction period is 24 months, and it is expected to be completed in July 2028. The overpass is located on the west side of the capital city in the Anoxizato Corridor, connecting two national highways, RN1 and RN58A. It is equipped with dedicated ramps to separate traffic flow and is accompanied by the construction of pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes.

Traffic congestion in Antananarivo has existed for a long time. As a strategic corridor connecting the capital and the western region of Madagascar, this section has a huge daily traffic volume, with particularly severe congestion during peak hours in the morning and evening, directly affecting the efficiency of personnel and cargo transportation.

China's continued deep cultivation of infrastructure in Africa

China Geological Engineering Group Co., Ltd. has a deep connection with Madagascar.
