On August 4, 2026, Sungrow successfully won the bid for the supply of energy storage system equipment for the project with a quotation of 53.54 million yuan.
The project is located in Iloilo Province, Philippines, with a DC side installed capacity of 166MWp and an AC side capacity of 117MWac in the photovoltaic area. The current construction scale of the energy storage system is 13.86MW/55.165MWh. According to the plan, the total capacity of the energy storage area in the future of the project is 20.16MW/80MWh, and this phase of construction has reserved 6.14MW/25.075MWh of expansion space for the future. Based on this calculation, the winning bid price for this energy storage system is approximately 0.973 yuan/Wh.
As the EPC general contractor, CEEC has previously completed the procurement of key equipment such as the main transformer, SVG reactive power compensation device, closed-circuit television, and access control system for the project. The project is progressing with the equipment procurement phase as planned.
Sungrow has previously participated in the construction of new energy projects in multiple Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines and Vietnam. This winning bid further consolidates its market position in the regional energy storage equipment supply field.Editor/Min Jing
