On August 6, 2026, Yang Dongping, Vice President and Secretary General of the Silk Road International Think Tank, and his delegation went to the Turkish Embassy in China to hold talks with Serchuk Yunar, Türkiye's ambassador to China. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on topics such as youth exchange, think tank cooperation, and cultural exchange.

Yang Dongping introduced the work achievements of the Silk Road International Think Tank in the fields of youth exchange, research topics, and external communication. Based on the actual needs of youth development, the think tank recently launched the construction of the Silk Road Youth Talent Pool, and is committed to building a comprehensive service platform for young people in countries along the the Belt and Road for internship, employment and entrepreneurship.

Ambassador Yunar welcomed the visit of Yang Dongping and his delegation, and positively evaluated the efforts made by the Silk Road International Think Tank in promoting youth development. He pointed out that Türkiye is located at the junction of Asia and Europe, and has great potential for cooperation with China under the the Belt and Road framework. Türkiye's embassy in China is willing to play a role as a bridge to promote the deepening and practical cooperation between the two countries in youth exchanges, media publishing and other fields.
