The wave of energy transformation in Europe continues to advance, and Romania is digging deep into the potential of old industrial sites to launch photovoltaic renovation projects. After multiple rounds of intense bidding, CRCC successfully won the major contract and operation and maintenance of four photovoltaic power stations in Gorri County, injecting strong Chinese momentum into the optimization of the local energy structure through the innovative model of green reconstruction of industrial sites.

The old site is revitalized and green energy is landing

The project is located in Gorj County, southwestern Romania. It cleverly utilizes the ash storage yards left by two thermal power plants to build four photovoltaic power stations, transforming idle industrial land into a clean energy production base. The overall model adopts EPC general contracting and operation and maintenance integration, covering the entire process of scheme design, equipment procurement, civil engineering construction, grid connection and commissioning. In the future, 36 months of operation and maintenance services will be provided until the assets are fully transferred. There are 13 domestic and foreign enterprises competing on the same stage in this bidding, and the market competition is very fierce. The CRCC consortium stands out with its rich experience in overseas engineering performance, mature new energy EPC construction system, and comprehensive technical implementation plan, fully demonstrating its recognition in the overseas market.
