On the early morning of August 14, 2026, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company of the United Arab Emirates issued a statement stating that on the evening of the 13th, two of its ships were attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The company stated that the incident did not result in any injuries to personnel.
