The Central Asian energy market continues to expand, and Kyrgyzstan is fully committed to promoting the modernization of its power system. CSG has taken advantage of the situation to expand into the Central Asian market, reached a cooperation consensus with local energy departments, and helped the country overcome the bottleneck of power development, empowering regional energy interconnection and development.

Establishing a new mechanism for cooperation
CSG and the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan have officially signed a memorandum of understanding on power project and investment cooperation, and the high-level officials of both sides have completed the meeting and docking. According to the cooperation agreement, the relevant parties of the two countries will form a joint working group to coordinate various cooperation matters, screen high-quality cooperation projects, and simultaneously carry out technical verification and investment evaluation work, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of subsequent projects. The scope of cooperation covers multiple core areas such as energy infrastructure upgrading, power grid transformation, digital power technology application, and energy storage system construction.

Seize the opportunity of upgrading the power grid
With the continuous development of the economy and industry, the domestic electricity demand in Kyrgyzstan is steadily increasing, and the existing energy facilities are gradually unable to meet the development needs. The country's power system is based on hydropower as the core pillar, while actively expanding the renewable energy track and optimizing the single energy structure. At present, the focus of local power development has shifted from simply increasing power generation to transforming power grid transmission and distribution, upgrading digital management, and improving energy storage facilities. The upgrading of power infrastructure has entered a critical stage of tackling challenges.
Explore the Central Asian energy market
This cooperation breaks the previous single energy development cooperation model and achieves a new breakthrough in the comprehensive upgrading of the power system, which is an important upgrade of China Kyrgyzstan energy cooperation. Keywords: China Kyrgyzstan power cooperation, energy infrastructure

CSG relies on its own technological and industrial advantages to precisely enter the Kyrgyzstan power upgrade track. The subsequent project implementation will rely on technical evaluation, financing docking, and two-way negotiations to promote, which is expected to open up the incremental market for power investment in Central Asia, help China's power technology, standards, and engineering services move towards Central Asia, and deepen bilateral energy and economic cooperation.Editor/Min Jing
