On August 13, 2026, His Excellency Han Cancai, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to China, led embassy officials to attend the 59th ASEAN Day celebration held at the Embassy of Vietnam in China.

This event is hosted by the Embassy of Vietnam in China as the rotating chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Beijing , with the theme of "Navigating Our Future, Together". This event has special significance, as Timor Leste participated in the celebration for the first time as a formal member of ASEAN, fully demonstrating the spirit of the ASEAN family's continuous development and close unity.
