Kazem Ghalibadi, Deputy Minister of Law and International Affairs of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was invited to visit China and held a meeting with Chinese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Miao Deyu in Beijing. The two sides held consultations on international, regional, and bilateral issues.
During the meeting, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China emphasized the significance of commemorating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and stated that the friendly relations between Iran and China continue to develop, and the two countries strengthen cooperation in the framework of comprehensive strategic partnership and international multilateral occasions.
Galibadi also emphasized Iran's ability to respond to military aggression and maintain national cohesion. During the meeting, both sides also exchanged views on regional peace and security, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, cooperation in international and multilateral occasions such as the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as important issues in bilateral relations.Editor/Min Jing
