In the first half of 2026, China's renewable energy installed capacity will increase by 117 million kilowatts, accounting for 73.9% of all new installed capacity, continuing to maintain its dominant position in new installed capacity. As of the end of June, the installed capacity of renewable energy in China reached 2.455 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 13.7%, accounting for approximately 60.7% of the total installed capacity. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is 679 million kilowatts, the installed capacity of solar power is 1.274 billion kilowatts, and the total installed capacity of wind and solar power is 1.951 billion kilowatts, accounting for about 48.3% of the total installed capacity of electricity in China. In the first half of 2026, the national renewable energy power generation will reach 1.96 trillion kilowatt hours, accounting for 41.2% of the total power generation. The total wind and photovoltaic power generation reached 1.25 trillion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%, accounting for 24.6% of the total electricity consumption in society. Three aspects of work deployment

The meeting emphasized the need to solidly carry out three aspects of work and achieve a good start to the 15th Five Year Plan.
