On August 22, 2026, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia welcomed a grand event of green computing power. The 2026 Green Computing (Artificial Intelligence) Conference was grandly held, with over 500 academicians, experts, and representatives from leading companies in the industry chain gathered together. Hohhot and Ulanqab jointly signed 13 key industrial projects with a total investment of 136.1 billion yuan, covering key upstream and downstream tracks such as chip testing, computing equipment manufacturing, large-scale intelligent computing centers, and word element factories. From cloud computing to intelligent computing power and then to the keyword economy, the Heling'er computing power cluster is leading the development of the domestic green intelligent computing industry with the computing power cluster 3.0 model.

136.1 billion yuan project signing

Hohhot and Ulanqab have joined hands with leading domestic computing and AI companies such as Volcano Engine and Cambrian to complete centralized project signing. Eight projects have been implemented in Hohhot, and five projects have been implemented in Ulanqab. The contracted territory covers key upstream and downstream tracks such as chip testing, computing equipment manufacturing, large-scale intelligent computing centers, and word element factories, connecting the entire industry chain of upstream chip hardware testing, midstream computing infrastructure, and downstream AI word element production and application. The signed list includes a number of iconic projects such as the Volcano Engine GW level Computing Power Park and Computing Power Center, Cambrian Chip Laboratory, Computing Equipment Industrial Park, Zero Carbon Intelligent Computing Base, and Word Element Base. After the project is implemented, it will fully absorb local wind, solar, and green power resources, explore innovative models of integrated computing and electricity, expand the supply scale of green intelligent computing power, and consolidate the foundation of the economy industry.

National level innovation achievements release

The conference simultaneously released two authoritative industry reports, the "Research Report on the Development of Green Computing Power" and the "Research Report on the Green Computing Power Index of East West Computing Hub Nodes". The construction of the Inner Mongolia Digital Service Overseas Comprehensive Service Platform has been launched, and the first batch of national pilot achievements such as trusted data space and metropolitan millisecond computing have been unveiled. The national video big model computing power base has been officially completed. As one of the eight major hub nodes of the national integrated computing power network, Inner Mongolia relies on its unique wind power and photovoltaic green power resources to continuously amplify the cost advantage of green power computing. It has completed the industrial iteration and upgrading from cloud computing, intelligent computing power to the ci yuan economy, forming a 3.0 development model for computing power clusters.
