Among the six networks, the computing power network is the fundamental support for the development of artificial intelligence. As of June this year, the number of standard racks in use nationwide has reached 15.56 million, ranking second in the world in terms of intelligent computing power scale. Since 2026, a number of computing power projects have made new progress, promoting the acceleration of computing power network construction.

Multiple computing power data centers are under construction in Qingyang, Gansu

The Qingyang data center cluster in Gansu Province is the latest to start among the eight major hub nodes of East Digital West Computing in China, but it has the fastest growth rate in computing power. In just five years, over 110000 standard racks have been put into operation, with a computing power scale of 306000 P and intelligent computing accounting for nearly 100%. Currently, multiple local computing power data centers are still under continuous construction.

Inner Mongolia Intelligent Computing Center enters the delivery phase

At present, a batch of computing power projects led by private enterprises have made new progress in the construction of the Inner Mongolia hub node: the intelligent computing center covering an area of about 200 acres has entered the delivery stage. The high-density and high-power servers here will provide a new generation of intelligent computing services for the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.

Private enterprises participate in the operation and maintenance of national computing infrastructure

In the downstream of the computing power industry chain, private enterprises are increasingly participating in the operation and maintenance of national computing infrastructure. At the National Supercomputing Wuxi Center, the maintenance of some data centers is entrusted to private enterprises in specialized fields, which have become key links for various entities providing national computing infrastructure services.

Liu Zhao, Deputy Director of the National Supercomputing Wuxi Center, said, "More than 10 private enterprises have joined us, leveraging their advantages of being close to the market and responding quickly to demand, to help allocate computing resources and provide customized computing solutions to enterprises in need.Editor/Gong Ziwei
