The all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Ukraine continues to heat up, and the Ukrainian delegation visited Beijing for in-depth communication on major projects and cooperation in multiple fields.

On August 26, 2026, Wang Yi met with Mirziyoyeva, Director of the Office of the President of Uzbekistan, in Beijing. Both sides exchanged greetings from the two heads of state, as this year marks the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. The Chinese side expressed its support for the development and construction of the Uzbekistan side, and is willing to accelerate the construction of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan railway, expand cooperation in energy, artificial intelligence, renewable energy and other fields.

The Ukrainian side appreciates the long-term development support provided by the Chinese side and looks forward to continuing high-level exchanges, deepening practical cooperation in agriculture, science, technology, minerals, humanities, and other fields, working together to promote the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan railway, jointly assisting the development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and jointly writing a new chapter of bilateral friendly cooperation.Editor/Min Jing
