The Xinjiang Energy Quality Improvement Project continues to accelerate, and the local comprehensive utilization project of lignite is progressing in an orderly manner. Based on the mature construction experience of the first phase, LSHEC continues to tackle the second phase of the project, steadily promoting project construction and assisting in the efficient utilization of regional coal resources.

Continuing to promote the construction of the second phase
Recently, the second phase of the comprehensive utilization project of 1.8 million tons of lignite pyrolysis and upgrading per year in Tongshunyuan, Xinjiang, undertaken by LSHEC, has steadily carried out various on-site construction processes. The scale of the second phase project is 600000 tons per year. Based on the existing public auxiliary facilities in the first phase, 6 carbonization furnace units will be added to maximize the utilization of existing engineering resources and reduce project construction costs. At present, the overall construction progress of the project has reached 60%. Keywords: LSHEC, lignite upgrading project

Building a solid foundation with high-quality projects
The previous phase of the 1.2 million ton annual lignite pyrolysis upgrading project achieved significant results. LSHEC constructed 10 new carbonization furnaces and a complete set of supporting facilities such as coal storage, gas purification, and coal tar storage and transportation, which were successfully put into operation by the end of 2025, accumulating mature construction and operation experience for the construction of the second phase project. Strictly control safety and process quality throughout the construction process, closely monitor construction milestones, and make every effort to ensure high-quality and efficient progress of the project, helping to promote the green and high-quality development of Xinjiang's energy industry.Editor/Min Jing
