On August 28, 2026, Changning District in Shanghai welcomed a grand event in the field of low altitude economy. Representatives from 26 low altitude economic parks, industrial groups, and technology companies from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui jointly signed the "Memorandum of Cooperation on the Low altitude Economic Industry Ecological Chain in the Yangtze River Delta". From the establishment and release of the proposal by the preparatory office in January this year, to the official signing of the memorandum of cooperation on the ecological chain, the circle of friends for the low altitude economy in the Yangtze River Delta has continued to grow, and the cross regional linkage mechanism has moved from consensus to implementation.

The signing parties include Wuxi Airport Industrial Park, Hangzhou Industrial Enterprise Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Hangshi Low altitude Infrastructure Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., International Advanced Technology Application Promotion Center (Hefei), Wuhu United Aircraft Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Hongqiao International Low altitude Economic Industrial Park and other core industrial carriers and leading enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta. The signing of the memorandum marks the official establishment of a normalized linkage and cooperation mechanism for the low altitude economy in the Yangtze River Delta, which will further break down regional barriers, form a cross regional co construction, co governance, and sharing low altitude industry ecosystem, and provide a replicable and promotable cross regional cooperation and development model for the planning, layout, and strengthening of the low altitude economy industry in the Yangtze River Delta.

The supply and demand list has been officially released

The "List of Supply and Demand for Low altitude Economic Industries in the Yangtze River Delta" comprehensively summarizes the supply and demand resources of various regions in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui in terms of industrial carriers, test flight takeoff and landing sites, air traffic control support, equipment manufacturing, emergency rescue, commercial applications, and other upstream and downstream areas. This move aims to precisely break through the development bottlenecks of airspace coordination, airworthiness docking, and industrial chain matching, promote the overall integration of low altitude industrial resources in the four regions, and provide clear action guidelines for enterprises to find scenarios and partners in the Yangtze River Delta.
