Congratulations to the capital for mentioning two new roads! Recently, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission approved the National Highway 104 (Five Ring Road-Qingyuan Road) and National Highway 105 (Qingli Road-City Boundary) road project proposals (on behalf of the feasibility study report). These two projects are planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2020, and will add two backbone roads to the southern part of the city.
The Beijing section of National Highway 104 starts from the Yongding Gate in the north and reaches the Beijing-Hebei boundary in the south, of which the plan has been basically realized in the fifth ring road. Existing roads on National Highway 104 (Wuhuan Road-Qingyuan Road), except for the fifth ring road-Xiyushun road section, are all secondary roads. The approved project will be basically routed along the existing roads from the fifth ring road to Qingyuan, and will be implemented synchronously with Metro Line 8, with a total length of about 5.2 kilometers, and will be constructed according to the city's main road standards.
The Beijing section of National Road 105 also starts from Yongding Gate in the north and reaches the Beijing-Hebei border in the south, but is collinear with National Road 104 to the north of Qingyundian Town and separated from National Road 104 in Qingyundian Town. The approved project starts from Qingli Road in the north and extends to the Beijing-Hebei border to the south, with a total length of about 10 kilometers.
The national highway 104 (the fifth ring road-Qingyuan Road) passes through Jiugong Town and Yinghai Town in Daxing District. Its reconstruction will help to better serve local transportation, facilitate residents to travel, and promote local economic development. National Highway 105 (Qingli Road-City Boundary) will strengthen the transportation links between Qingyundian Town, Anding Town and other townships and the central city, and promote economic and social development in the southern part of the city.
On the other hand, according to the overall plan of the Linkong Economic Zone, National Highway 105 (Qingli Road-City Boundary) is an important part of the backbone road network of the Linkong Economic Zone. It mainly serves the freight transportation organization of the Linkong Economic Zone and will be further supported after completion. The development of Linkong Economic Zone. After the implementation of National Highway 105 (Qingli Road-City Boundary) project, a new highway channel connecting the city and Hebei Province will be added.
After the road is opened to traffic, it will contribute to the integrated development and interconnection of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. As a national trunk road, the road will serve the urbanization process of the regions along the route and further improve the regional transportation network. Editor/Zhao Jing
