At the 32nd APEC SME Ministerial Meeting held in Guangzhou on September 4, 2026, it was learned that China has established the Asia Pacific Artificial Intelligence Empowerment SME Development Cooperation Center in Guangzhou, inviting all parties including APEC economies to participate in its construction. It is understood that the Cooperation Center adheres to the concept of openness, inclusiveness, and win-win cooperation, and carries out practical work around policy research, experience sharing, capacity building, and industrial cooperation. It promotes exchanges and mutual learning among all parties in terms of artificial intelligence technology capabilities, application scenarios, and practical experience, and helps more small and medium-sized enterprises in the Asia Pacific region easily access artificial intelligence tools and services, achieving common development in open cooperation.
