At the signing site of the project in Jiang'an Economic Development Zone, Yibin, the annual production of 5000 tons of porous carbon and 1000 tons of solid silicon carbon negative electrode materials project has officially landed. This material production line, which is specially designed to support the next generation of high-energy density batteries, will fill a key upstream link for Yibin's global power battery industry cluster.
In 2026, the domestic shipment of silicon carbon negative electrodes for power batteries will increase by over 180% year-on-year. The pace of industrialization of solid-state batteries continues to accelerate, and Yibin is seizing the first mover advantage in the material side of the new lithium battery track.

500 million yuan investment to improve the lithium battery supporting chain
The total investment of the project is about 500 million yuan, and it is expected to have an annual output value of 2.4 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of 120 million yuan after completion. It will create about 200 job opportunities for the local area.
The core products of the project are specialized silicon carbon negative electrode materials and porous carbon substrates for solid-state batteries. With the self-developed multi-stage granulation technology, the cyclic expansion rate of the silicon-based negative electrode can be controlled within 10%, and the first charge and discharge efficiency can reach over 95%. It directly provides nearby support for local leading battery enterprises such as Sichuan Times, greatly reducing the transportation radius and delivery cycle of upstream materials.
Silicon based materials race track accelerates landing
As a high-tech enterprise specializing in high-end silicon carbon anodes for solid-state batteries, Jiangfan Guizhi's core technology originates from the R&D team of Xi'an Jiaotong University. It has previously completed nearly 100 million yuan in Pre-A round financing and built a 3000 square meter pilot base.
