The Silk Road has been a thousand years, and camel bells have turned into voices of dialogue. The ancient city of Samarkand welcomes a political treaty that transcends mountains and rivers - representatives from China and five Central Asian countries sit together, using inter party exchanges as a bridge to gather consensus in the changing situation and inject new political momentum into the regional community with a shared future.

On September 6, 2026, a special meeting of the China Central Asia Political Parties Dialogue was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, delivered a speech at the meeting. Nearly 200 representatives from political parties and parliamentary institutions of the five Central Asian countries attended the meeting, and relevant Chinese officials from multiple countries attended. The meeting was chaired by officials from Ukraine.   Under the leadership of the head of state, China and Central Asia have embarked on a path of permanent neighborliness, forming the spirit of China Central Asia. Faced with the complex international situation, China is willing to promote this spirit with Central Asia, assist countries in modernization, and jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind.

The Chinese political party will implement cooperation documents with all parties in Central Asia, learn from each other's experience in governance, expand party+exchanges, jointly resist external risks, strengthen the foundation of youth friendship, and promote the construction of a China Central Asia community with a shared future. Keywords: political mutual trust, pragmatic cooperation, community of shared future, regional prosperity

All parties in Central Asia fully recognize the achievements of the SCO Summit and acknowledge the cooperative value of China as a reliable partner. In the face of various global challenges, all parties will rely on the platform of political party dialogue, implement the consensus of the heads of state, deepen the exchange of governance experience, promote practical cooperation in areas such as connectivity, science and technology innovation, and green development, expand exchanges in youth, women, and other fields, and help stabilize and prosper the region.Editor/Gong Ziwei
